1600 Weapons Surrendered
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 18.' More than 1600 weapons were surrendered to the I police during the first twol months of the arms amnesty.} Most are rifles or shotguns, l but 449 pistols and revolvers l were also handed in. With only 12 days of thej amnesty still to run, 66} bombs and grenades have' been dealth with.
