(N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 19. Leyland Investments, Ltd, Auckland, is holding its dividend at 9 per cent, taking $21,600 after a slight decline, by $320 to $25,860 in net profit in the year to September 30 This was after tax of $5OO (down $100) and represents '5.7 per cent on average i funds and 10.8 per cent on capital, compared with 5.9 and 10.9 per cent last year Shareholders’ funds rose $420 to $453,397, including capital of $240,000. The market value of the portfolio increased from $508,814 to $625,492, lifting the asset backing from $l.lO to $1.30 a 50c share.
