Appointment In Scotland (N ZP A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON. Nov. 18 , A Pakistani businessman has been appointed the first coloured Justice of the Peace in Glasgow Mr B. A. Maan. aged 42, a partner in a wine-and-spirit business, sees his appointment as “an instrument of integration. and proof that Pakistanis. Indians, West Indians, and Chinese all have something to offer Scotland.” Mr Maan came to Scotland in 1952, and started selling drapers door-to-door. He then ran a laundry, and sold life insurance, and said he had had five or six jobs all at once.
