Chi-Chi Shows Interest

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. Nov. 12. A giant panda, Chi-Chi, the reluctant female wooed in vain by Moscow Zoo’s An-An, has undergone an apparent change of heart or hormones. Suddenly, she gives signs of saying yes-yes to her intended mate. If Chi-Chi and An-An do make love—not war, as in the past—zoologists hope they may produce the first baby giant panda born in the West A London Zoo spokesman said last night that Moscow had allowed An-An to remain longer at the zoo because ChiChi had displayed last-minute interest in him.
