WEEK-END TENNIS

83 Juniors Entered The Canterbury Junior Lawn Tennis Association has 83 entries for its tournament to be held in under-17, under--15 and under-13 sections at Wilding Park. Play will begin tomorrow and will be completed on Sunday. Last season a full tournament was held at Show weekend with senior and junior sections, but this season senior players competed in a Labour week-end tournament while the junior association kept its show fixture. Because of a paucity of entries in the under-17 sections most games will be played as round-robins. The two leading boys entered are R. Adams and T. Mooney. Seedings for other sections are:—
