WAGE-ORDER FIXING

Meeting On Procedure (N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. Nov 13. A meeting between the Federation of Labour and the Employers’ Federation, to discuss the procedure for fixing general wage orders, will be held in Wellington tomorrow, but will not be open to the public. The meeting was agreed upon by both parties at the time of the last hearing by the Court of Arbitration for a general wage order. It will be chaired by the Secretary of Labour (Mr N. Woods).

Ten representatives from each organisation will attend the meeting, which will be opened by the Minister of Labour (Mr Shand).

Horticulture Diploma.—J. A. Fraser of Nelson has passed the Diploma in Horticulture at Massey University.
