“Authoritative sources say the companies themselves will be established within six months. However, the issue of a prospectus and subsequent listing naturally depends on the amount of money needed by the company." It could be more than two years before it has Australian listing, he said, and a year for New Zealand. Colonel C. P. Dawnay. chairman of Dalgety and N.Z. Loan, said he would only increase his recent £6.5m takeover bid for the New Zealand and Australian Land Company if it could show it was expecting “vastly increased profits.” Group profit for Dalgety
and N.Z. Loan fell £175.151. or 8.7 per cent, to £1,841,000 in the latest year. H. Jones Plans Bonus Issue (N Z. Press Assn— Copyright) SYDNEY. Nov. 13.
