Lady Porritt To Visit
Lady Porritt, who is national president of the New Zealand Girl Guides Association, will make her first official visit to the association’s headquarters in Christchurch on November 27 for the annual meeting. Lady Porritt will be the guest speaker and will present awards for outstanding service.
Letter Of Concern.—The Canterbury Family Life Education Council will write to the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) expressing concern at the staffs of State primary schools being prohibited from arranging any instruction or discussion which could be interpreted as sex education.
