Minerals were easier after Thursday’s improvement. Great Boulder's loss from gold mining in the year just ended depressed the company's shares but they partly recovered to 780 c, a net loss of 50c.

Industrials were marginally firmer although B.H.P. eased 10c to 1815 c.

MELBOURNE Most minings eased, lid by nickels but mostly moves were not large. Great Boulder drop, ped 50c at 780 c. Oils were flrm. Ampol Expl up 15c at 285 c.

Industrial falls outnumbered rises in small movement. B.H.P. closed at a steady 1825 after selling down to 1815 c. Courage Brewery dropped 7c to 106 c, making a fall of 18c on the week. Slater Walker made 94c over the week to close at 590 c after touching 610 c on Thursday.
