Canadian Trade Mission Arrives
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 3. Profiting from generous Government support for research and development, many relatively small Canadian companies are now world leaders in highly specialised fields of science and industry.
The success is reflected in a growing export drive. This week-end a six-man sales mission arrived in Auckland for a visit of a week to sell Canadian medical and scientific equipment to New Zealand. The mission spokesman, Mr R. S. Soanes, founder and research director of the Canadian Institute, will offer devices for measurement of colours and continuous measurement of sweating rates. Other members of the mission will offer portable seismographs and mineral pros-
pecting instruments, equipment for measuring wave heights and controlled environment cabinets for biological research. They will also examine prospects for joint ventures and licensing arrangements. The mission will visit Wellington before flying on to Australia and South Africa.
DIAL 50-MS. The operation is quick and simple, the cost is low, and more' than 70.000 families are quickly acquainted with your wants . . . whether you want to Buy, Sell, Seek or Tell. Read and use "The Press” Classifieds.
