Good Progress Reported (N.Z. press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 5. Assets of the Northern Co - operative Terminating Building Society, Auckland, rose to $96,155,202 in the year to August 31. Because of changes in the method of, accounting, no comparative figures for last year are given in the annual report. Excellent progress had been made, the chairman (Mr W. L. Wyber) reports. Advances to members were by far the largest single item, with $70.9m out on mortgage and $3.7m in advances on shares. Land and buildings are shown at sl.4m. Government stock holdings total $9.6m with $515,958 in local body stock. Ballot loan rights total s7.Bm.
