“Incorrectly Quoted”

(N.Z. Press Association) * AUCKLAND. The former All Black, Mr Waka Nathan, said in Auckland yesterday that he was incorrectly quoted in a Press Association message from Hamilton on September 27 as saying that Maoris should go with the All Blacks to South Africa in 1970, provided the South Africans were not embarrassed. Mr Nathan said that in response to a question after addressing the Ngaruawahia Lions Club he had said that he felt that Maoris should go on the tour provided they (the Maoris) were not going to be embarrassed.

Squash Visit. —The New Zealand Squash Rackets Association has received confirmation of a visit by the British open and amateur champion, J. Barrington. Barrington will arrive on October 13.
