Three Records Broken At Christ's College

The outstanding 17-year-old, S. W. Cowles, broke another record on the final day of the Christ’s College sports on Saturday. He broke his own open 440 yard record in the morning session with a time of 50.8 sec.

On Friday he broke the open long jump record with a leap of 21ft 9}in. The old record of 21ft Bin was set in 1877 by F. G. Westenra.
