The Senate yesterday approved a 871,900 million Appropriations Bill to finance United States military operations, including the Vietnam war, for the next year. The Bill was $5200 million less than President Johnson requested, and 5350 million lower than the Bill approved earlier by the House of Representatives. The defence appropriation, the largest single item in the Federal budget, now goes to a Senate and House committee
