Gain for swimming
Swimming In New Zealand is certain to benefit from the presence of Diane Sutherland, who will take np residence in Dunedin in January. The 13-year-old freeMISS D. SUTHERLAND style swimmer has been described as the greatest discovery of the last English swimming season. Miss Sutherland sprang to prominence in the English schools* ehampionship and subsequently performed brilliantly at the British Olympic trials over 110 yards. She narrowly missed selection tn the team for Mexico.
