(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ADELAIDE. The New Zealander, J. M. Lister, is the new leader in the West End $3OOO golf tournament at Victor Harbour, 50 miles south of Adelaide. In yesterday’s second round, the course record of 68 held by K. D. G. Nagle was beaten by four players and equalled by four others. Lister was one of those who broke it and his 66 gave the Timaru player a 36-hole total of 137, and a two-stroke lead over the Australians, A. A. Murray <7l, 68), and T. J. Woolbank <7l. 68). Another New Zealander, W. J. Godfrey, also shot a 66, and was on 145. The scores of other New Zealanders were: ; T. Kendall (72, 70). B. T. Boys <73, 69), R. McDonald <69, 74).
