The foreign ministers of the three A.N.Z.U.S. countries, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, will meet in Washington next Thursday to review “major international developments,” the United States State Department announced today. This will be the eighteenth meeting of the members of the 1951 defence treaty. The last was held in Wellington in May of this year. The Foreign Minister (Mr Hasluck) will represent Australia, and the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) will come from New Zealand to meet the Secretary of State (Mr Dean Rusk).
