GIRL SLEPT IN BUSH

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, Sept. 17.

Kathleen Jean Auld, the 18-year-old girl who went missing on her way to work in Greymouth on Monday morning, walked out of the bush behind Alexander Street at 1.45 this afternoon. She went to the home of Mr and Mrs W. G. McKay, 25 Alexander Street, with some of her clothing torn and muddy from her night in the bush. It rained heavily last evening. Miss Auld could give no reason for having been in the bush. She was given a cup of tea, a hot bath, and put to bed in the house. She was still sleeping this evening, the Greymouth police reported. It is believed Miss Auld is suffering from delayed concussion.
