Successful Season
tFrom the London correspondent of "The Press") The final cricket averages for the first-class season in English county cricket, which have just been released, show that G. K. Turner, of Dunedin, had an outstanding introductory season *or his club, Worcestershire. He aggregated 1182 runs for an average of 30.37, and finished thirty-eighth in the table of 218 batsmen. Turner, who is now back in New Zealand on holiday, will return to Worcestershire for the 1969 season.
