(N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU. After both competitors had earlier scored 175 points, C. Alderson (Invercargill), won the South Island al! type and breeds gun dog championship in a run off by two points from A. Bayliss (South Otago), at Temuka. Results:— South Island All Breeders Championship: C. Alderson (Invercargill) 178 points 1. A. Bayliss (South Otago) 176 2, C. Thvne (Timaru) 169 3. South Island Retriever Championship: J. Penno (Dunedin) 180 1, G. Cox (Christchurch) 178 2, J. Stanton (Christchurch) 175 3. South Island Spaniel Championship: M. Leathern (Christchurch) 174 1, D. Reid (Bluff) 157 2.
