Parliament spent most of its working time yesterday discussing the commital of the National Military Service Amendment Bill. After a vote had been taken on an Opposition amendment, this debate was completed. Ministers answered 14 questions.
When it rose at 4 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday,’ the House was discussing the second reading of the State Advances Corporation Amendment Bill.
