CANTERBURY DELEGATE

Mrs W. Mason will be the Canterbury federation delegate at the next annual meeting of New Zealand Country Women's Institutes. It will be held in Whangarei in July, with a Dominion-wide choralfestival. The convener for Canterbury will be Mrs W, G. Loudon, assisted by Mrs M. Godfrey. At the half-yearly meeting in October, Mrs I. Laws will judge the competitions. The day before, the executive committee will entertain the Dominion President (Mrs E. Gane) with a dinner.

Arrangements had been completed for the flower show on September 26, it was reported at the recent meeting of the Canterbury federation executive; and an open day would be held at the Sunnyside Hospital on November 2.
