(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. Members of the New Zealand Society of Accountants will be called chartered accountants when a bill, introduced in Parliament by the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) becomes law The bill is the Society of Accountants Amendment Bill. Mr Muldoon said that all the amendments in the bill, which included an increase in the disciplinary powers of the society to cover non members who were issued with a practising certificate, were introduced at the request of the I society.

Conference Arranged.—The Australian Minister of Labour and National Service (Mr Leslie Bury) said today the Asian regional meeting of experts on vocational training planning would be held in Sydney next December.— Tokyo, September 10.
