SALARY SCALE in accordance with the Hospital Employment Regulations: FOR JUNIOR REGISTRARS: $3760/ 4140 p.a. (plus $133 anaesthetic allowance). FOR SENIOR REGISTRARS; $4270/ $4920 p.a. (plus $133 anaesthetic allowance). Limited single and married accommodation is available. Applicants should clearly indicate in their applications whether they wish to live in or out. [ Regular tutorial courses In basic sciences and in clinical subjects will be held throughout the year for those wishing to study for higher degrees and diplomas in all the above disciplines. This is a busy 60-bed unit for babies, young children and their mothers receiving treatment on account of medical or social circumstances. There is close association with Auckland’s General and Obstetric Hospitals. The position will interest a Nurse experienced in the care of sick children and concerned for their family rehabilitation. QUALIFICATIONS: General, Obstetric, and Plunket certificates (or overseas equivalent). Post graduate diploma an advantage but not essential. SALARY: (under review) present minimum $2,474 + O/time.
