Delay Naming Selectors

(N.Z. Press Association) . AUCKLAND. The 1960 New Zealand Rugby league selection panel will be announced after the national conference In Auckland on September 20-21.

The three selectors were to have been named at a council meeting last evening, but the chairman, Dr L. J. Cooney, said that the selection had been deferred so that provincial leagues could discuss their views on the panel. Mr C. R. Mountford, the national director of coaching, told the meeting that a sub-league may be established within the Bay of Plenty area,' covering Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, and Te Puke.
