Twelve Medals In Wrestling

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY. New Zealanders won four gold and eight silver medals at the Australian and New Zealand junior wrestling championships at Sydney last night. P. Ragg won the under 13st 101 b class from S. Utu Tonga (North Island) with some excellent performances in a hardfought class. R. McClaughan (South Island) showed determination and skilful wrestling to win the under lOst 3!b class from I. Lobb (Victoria). In the under list class. New Zealanders dominated the division. R. Williams (South Island) won a gold medal in a splendid bout with S. Gregg, who took second place. Two New Zealanders contested the final of the under 12st ll’.b class, D. Aspin (North Island) proving too strong for his teammate, I. Simpson.
