Not Discused By Council
The Canterbury University Council did not discuss the contraceptive-vending machine issue at its meeting yesterday afternoon. The Vice-Chancellor (Professor N. C. Phillips) read the executive’s resolution and a statement he made to the newspapers that it would be very regrettable to debate the matter until students as a whole had decided whether they wanted the machines or not.
