Six Persons Arrested
Two young men and two boys were arrested last evening on charges relating to the robbery of a lottery tickpt street seller, aged 60, in Cashel Street, about 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The ticket seller, who suffered cuts requiring eight stitches on his head, was robbed of about $45 and books of lottery tickets. Today the young men will appear in the Magistrate’s Court and the boys will appear at a special sitting of the Children’s Court. One of those arrested will be charged with receiving. Detective-Sergeant N. J. Stokes and Detective P. Creasey made the arrests. Detectives also arrested a man on a charge of burgling Chaney's Service Station on August 27. Property worth $236 has been recovered. Another man was arrested on a charge of breaking into the Grosvenor Hotel yesterday. Both the men will appear in the Magistrate's Court today.
