Siamese Twin Girl Dies
(N.Z.P.A.-Reut er—Copyright) PARIS, Sept 4. Blanche, one of the first Togoland Siamese twins, has died a fortnight after being separated by French surgeons from her sister, Irene, in a delicate three-hour operation. The Paris Children’s Hospital, where the operation took place, said yesterday that Blanche had died on August 26 after contracting bronchial pneumonia. Irene, now nine weeks old, was making satisfactory progress.
