CHARGE OF MURDER

(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 4. The trial of Stanley Rang) on a charge of murder began in the Supreme Court at Auckland today before the Chief Justice (Sir Richard Wild) and an all-male jury. Rangi, aged 22, a market gardener, is charged with the murder of Vera Martin, at Patumahoe, on or about June 9. He has pleaded not guilty. Mr D. S. Morris and Mr -S. B. W. Grieve appear for the Crown. Rangi is represented by Mr K. Ryan.
