Current Sales Ahead

Sales of fertiliser by Kempthome Prosser and Company's New Zealand Drug Company, Ltd, Dunedin, for the first three months of the current year are ahead of those for the same period last year, the chairman (Mr W. L. Cunningham) told the annyal meeting yesterday. The company was in good shape and had a solid interest in the fertiliser industry in New Zealand. “I have every confidence that the company will expand and progress in the future,” he said. As announced, the group profit eased $64,782, or 12.6 per cent, to $450,964 in the latest year to May 31 and the ordinary dividend was maintained at 8 per cent.
