Hopes For Post Office
Speaking on new postal facilities for Christchurch at the monthly meeting of the council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce last evening, the chairman of the chambers postal committee (Mr J. Stewart) said that in the last 24 hours there had been suggestions that a ministerial statement could be expected soon. “Things seem to be a little bit more promising,” he said.
