LA LECHE LEAGUE
First Branch In S.I.
The flrst South Island branch of the La Leche League was formed in Christchurch this week. There has been a good .response from young mothers and the programme of discussions, encouraging breast-feeding of babies, will begin on September 25.
The league, which is an independent organisation, had the support of the Plunket Society in Christchurch, said one of the organisers, Mrs J. Wybourne. The other Christchurch woman organising the league here is Mrs G. Ward,
