Kime Hamiora Smith, aged 16. of Back Miranda Road, Waitakaruru.

He was crushed against a bank after the tractor on which he was a passenger ran backwards out of control down a hill at Ngatea. The youth’s father, Mr R. T. Smith, was killed in the same area on June 21, when his tractor rolled on him.
