Mr Pelsah hae the Lomar Park Stud, Sydney, and flew over especially for the tale. He will return home today. Besides Cashmor, he bought the flve-year-old mare, Piaeere, for 1800. Both mares will probably go straight to. the stud. Mr Pelsah stands La Cerdonnier which, he rays. Is bred on Similar lines to the high-priced stallion, Sucaryl, recently imported to New tealand. like Sucaryl, Le Cerdonnier won the News Of The World Stakes. Offered by Mr and Mrs S. W. A. Vincent, of Inglewood, Cashmor is a chestnut by Le FHou from Royal Standard (Triumvir —Dignify) and thus from the same family as Cracksman, King Bey. Elixir and other good winners. a broodmare and a two-year-old Ally shared the nest best price, 81280, The broodmare was pale Blue (Gabador— Pastel), offered by Mrs E. D. Coulter, of the SevMoaks stud, Blenheim, and bought by Wright Stephenson and Company. Ltd, Hamilton. The crowd of 150 was evidently more interested th looking than buying and prices generally wore low. Of the 22 yearlinga offered, only half reached the reserve and these 11 averaged a modest 8441.
