INTERESTING TRIAL

"The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND.

AS interesting as the Hunt Cup and Jelllcoe Handicap promise to be at the Pakuranga hunt races tomorrow, they are not likely to attract much more attention than a trial gallop scheduled for the afternoon. The participants in the trial, over a mile and a quarter, will be Red Crest, Terrific and Bright Chief, which, all going well, will run in the Melbourne Cup in November.

The gallop will take place at about 2.40 p.m.. after the Jellicoe Handicap.
