BROTHERS INJURED

Two brothers of Abberley Crescent, R. J. and B. R. Chisholm, have suffered for their interest' and participation in sport in the last week. Last week, Roley Chisholm, a member of the Canterbury University Rugby league team, was severely injured in the first match of the universities winter sports tournament. He suffered a punctured lung and two broken ribs.

On Saturday, competing in an inter-club cycling race for the Papanui club against Timaru, Bruce Chisholm crashed. He had 12 stitches inserted in a deep gash above his left eye. and also has a badly grazed left arm. shoulder and leg. Roley Chisholm intends to retire from sport but Bruce, although he will miss this week’s race, will soon be back in action again.
