BRUSSELS, Aug. 21.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation’s Permanent Council was hurriedly summoned for an emergency meeting today to discuss the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. The Permanent Council is composed of the ambassadors of the 15 member States.
President Tito has called for the Jugoslav Communist Party Central Committee Presidium to meet tonight.
