Nylex Interim Profit Up

The plastic manufacturer, Nylex Corporation, Ltd, increased its interim net profit to June 30 by $172,000, or 22 per cent, to $953,000 over the same period in 1967. Directors said prospects for the rest of the year were good.

Kathleen Investments, Ltd, has agreed to spend $lOO,OOO investigating a mineral lease held by Timor Oil in Western Australia.
Kathleen will earn a 50 per cent interest in the expenditure.
