Y-Boys Beat College Team
Y-Boys beat the Nelson College A grade team. 63-42, in a men’s basketball match in the Mairehau High School’s gymnasium on Saturday evening. The former New Zealand representative, C. Morris, was the top scorer for Y-Boys with 15 points. B. Harding scored 18 points for Nelson College. Other results were:—Mairehau High School 28 <R. Rossitor 14), Nelson College Juniors 28 (D. McCullough 11): Mairehau Thirds 13, Mairehau Juniors 11: Mairehau Girls B 15, Mairehau Third Form Team 5.
