NEW BRIGHTON WINS RELAY.—The sprightly veteran, B. Beale, completing the last lap in Fisher Avenue to give the New Brighton No. 2 team victory in the Marist Harrier Club’s Port Hills road relay on Saturday. Beginning three minutes behind go, the team led almost all the way to win the 22-mile event by more than two and a half minutes. Olympic No. 1 again took the fastest time.
