DEATH OF WOMAN
Gas Employees Charged
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Aug. 17. Two Dunedin City Corporation gas department employees were charged in the Magistrate’s Court with manslaughter, as a result of the death of a 70-year-old widow in Dunedin on April 30. On the application of Detective Senior-Sergeant D. W. B. Warner. Mr J. D. Murray. S.M., granted an adjournment until September 13 for the taking of depositions. Only one of the two defen dants, Kevin George Patter son, aged 20, workman, appeared in the dock. He was represented by Mr H. J. Ross The other defendant is John Gordon Haggitt
