Regulation On Dumping Waste

WELLINGTON, August 16. Dumping of waste food or materials near airfields has been made illegal by the Government because the rubbish attracts birds—which constitute a hazard to aircraft Under the Civil Aviation Regulations, 1953 (Amendment No. 12) the Director of Civil Aviation will be empowered to order the removal of food or, waste materials.
The regulation was gazetted today.
