Top Players In Golf
Most of Canterbury’s top golfers have entered for the Rangiora club’s open tournament this week-end. Excellent golf is expected, the course being in good order and the greens fast and accurate. The senior field includes players of the calibre of R. K. Atkinson, the present titleholder; R. Farrant, winner of the Windsor open two weeks ago, E. H. Richards, D. R. Hope, I. D. Dobson, R. Bradley, and F. T. and R. E. Hobbs.
The strongest challengers.
from the Rangiora club are expected to be B. Clegg, run-ner-lup at Windsor, and the D. Beggs, winner of the Culverden open last week.
