Robbery Leads To Search
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 14. Police are still searching for the man who held up the manageress of the Devonport Totalisator Agency Board at knifepoint last night. Mrs M. N. Stewart was tied up by the masked robber who is believed to have taken $3OO from the agency’s safe. Today it was revealed the branch was described as dangerous after a survey made of board offices in the Auckland area by the Clerical Workers’ Union two months ago.
