World XI To Play
fNZ P A -Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. South Africa and West Indies each supply five players in the Rest of the World cricket team to play a series of matches starting later this month. The Rest of the World, led by the Indian captain, the Nawab of Pataudi, will meet Hampshire at Bournemouth on August 21, Kent at Canterbury on August 24 and Australia at Lord’s on August 31. Other Rest of the World players will be: E. J. Barlow (South Africa), K. C. Bland (South Africa). B. F Butcher (West Indies), Bhagwat Chandrasekhar (India), w W Hall (West Indies). D Lindsay (South Africa). Hanif Mohammed >Pakistan). S. M. Nurse (West Indies). R. G Pollock (South Africa). P M Pollock (South Africa)
The West Indies captain. G. Sobers will lead the Rest of the World against an England XI during the Scarborough Festival from September 4 to 6. when the Australian captain. W. M. La wry, his team-mate. G. D McKenzie, and the West Indian. C. Lloyd, will join the squad.
