Band’s New Instruments

The Skellerup - Woolston Brass Band has been equipped with new instruments. In his annual report, the chairman (Mr ‘A. M. Clemens) says a set of Boosey Class A low pitch instruments has been obtained to replace a set which is more than 20 years old. The instruments were imported at a cost of about $BOOO. The band's old instruments will be checked and converted to low pitch and then will be passed on to the Skellerup - Woolston Auxiliary Band.
