HOCKEY TOURS
The New Zealand hockey team has been invited to compete in an international tournament to be held in Hong Kong from September 20 to 27, 1969. The New Zealand Hockey Association must make an official reply before October 1 and it has already sent a letter to the Hong Kong association indicating that it favours the tour but not making a firm commitment.
Australia has also invited New Zealand to tour next year and this has been accepted. The details of the tour are still to be completed. The Australians have set up a sub-committee to discuss future tours between the countries and to consider the frequency and length of the tours.
