Woman Burned

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, July 21. An elderly woman is in a satisfactory condition in the Wakari Hospital after suffering severe burns to her legs and lower body at her home at 36 College Street, Caversham, on Saturday morning. Miss Pearl Westland, aged 76, received the burns about 11 am. when her clothing caught fire after coming in contact with an electric hea-ter-in her bedroom. Units of the Dunedin Central and Lookout Point Are brigades attended' the fire, which spread to other items in the bedroom causing only superficial damage.
