Rainbow 11, the New Zealand entry in the One-Ton Cup yacht races round the North Sea island of Heligoland, took second place on Saturday, behind the West German cup holder, Optimist, in the third of the five races to decide the championship, Associated Press reported. With C. Bouzaid at the helm. Rainbow II had trailed the leading yachts by about 30min after half of the 210mile course was sailed. Rainbow II is placed third in the over-all standings with a total of 83 points. Optimist, skippered by H. Beilken, is leading.
